TikToke Car Guy Says Three Tow Trucks Refused to Tow His Lowered Honda, Leaving Him Stranded for Over Four Hours

Even though it sucks, getting stuck on the side of the highway is something that happens commonly, which is why some insurance companies offer roadside assistance. However, for this driver, he had to wait for over four hours after three tow trucks canceled his order.

Why would a tow be canceled, you ask? Apparently, the tow truck drivers thought that his car was too low to the ground to be able to be towed.

You'd think that a service that deals in towing cars would know what to do if there is a car that's too low for them to snag. If it were a parking space, would the tow truck driver just have left the car sitting there because he couldn't tow it?

Well, beyond that not making a whole lot of sense to begin with. What exactly are you supposed to do as a driver? I guess you need to wait for another hour and hope that a fourth tow truck doesn't come and cancel on you again.

The video shows the original poster filming from the front camera of his phone on what looks to be a busy highway of sorts. He explains that he's been out there for four hours while waiting for a tow truck to actually take his vehicle.

He didn't clarify exactly what was wrong with the car, but it couldn't move from where it was currently parked on the side of the road. Apparently, the reason given for not being able to tow the car is that it is too low to the ground.

Typically, I have seen tow trucks load lower cars by using makeshift ramps that lessen the angle at which the car is driven onto the truck bed. I'd like to think that the person who posted the video let the companies that he called know that much, especially after the first cancellation.

Commenters Say Asking for a Flatbed Could Have Solved the Problem

Whether you think lowered cars look great or think they're nothing but a headache, being stranded on the side of a busy highway for four hours because three tow trucks refused to do the job isn't exactly ideal. At the same time, the comment section makes one thing pretty clear: everyone seems to have an opinion on lowered cars.
