Fitness influencer Sara Saffari has recently been involved in an unexpected situation in which, after only 200 miles of riding in her brand-new Porsche 911 Turbo S, she saw a warning light indicating an engine issue. A livestreamed discussion between fitness influencers Sara Saffari and Sam Frank regarding engine break-in periods was viewed by many people.

Sara Saffari has recently bought a Porsche 911 Turbo S – the company's premium model featuring an engine that provides over 640 horsepower. During her live broadcast on the Kick platform, Sara suddenly noticed an engine warning.

"You have a Turbo S, and it's brand new. That's why there's a check engine light. You have to drive it," explained Frank during their livestream. "It's not even past the break-in period, which is like at 1,500 miles."

Saffari tried to prove that no breaking-in process was required for the purchased Porsche.


"It doesn't have a break-in period," claimed Saffari. However, Frank denied this statement, saying, "Every car does."

Discussion continued when Sara mentioned that she had already reached 130 mph.

"So I shouldn't be driving crazy?" she asked, to which Frank replied with agreement that, indeed, she shouldn't drive this car too fast in the first miles. "It's a brand-new engine. That's probably why there's a check engine light, because you probably drove it too hard within the break-in period."
