There are places where a waxie would catch nothing but moon eyes. The
habitats are similar to those of the white bass's: fast current, clear and
clean water, rocky or sandy bottom.
One must know how to cook them so the bones aren't an issue.

the white bass is super common around here
if you find one, there usually a school nearby
plus they grow fast and out compete native fish

easy to catch and good chunk of meat...no tiny bones to choke on.
