This story about Si Woo Kim accidentally crossing the Canadian border without a passport is amazing
Golf fans who were worried that shooting 59 would change Michael Kim need not worry. The guy is still delivering the goods on Golf Twitter. Kim, who has long been one of the most entertaining follows in that space, picked right up at the next tournament, the Rocket Classic in Detroit, with an all-time tale. It involves Si Woo Kim, a mix-up in restaurants, the Canadian border and EIGHT border patrol agents. What the story doesn't involve is a passport. Which is what led to those EIGHT border patrol agents when Si Woo mistakenly crossed the Canadian border without one trying to find a Korean BBQ spot. Anyway, take it away, Michael! Wow, what a wild tale. Too bad there's not a photo, but we're guessing Si Woo was probably a bit scared about whipping out his phone in front of EIGHT border patrol agents. Not sure why all that manpower was needed to surround Si Woo in his courtesy car, but, thankfully, it all ended well. The guys had a (later-than-panned) dinner. And Si Woo got back into the U.S. in time for the start of the tournament on Thursday. Never a dull moment, indeed. And we are thankful to both Si Woo and Michael for the content as well.
