BEEF is expensive….. some packages ain’t getting sold, started to turn discolor

i notice at my local grocery store
some beef packages been sitting out too long UNSOLD
losing it redness coloring and started to turn light black/blackish

usually the store employee will catch this and give a discount

but they not moving at all
