Just one week until Thanksgiving.  There is so much to be thankful for this year.  I have come to realize many things and perhaps the most important is to love myself a little more.  I have been blessed with my own strength but even better, I've been blessed with people.  My family, my friends, my colleagues, and many strangers.  Can I also say many incidents too? Fights amongst friends, tears of disappointment, super hurricane, unforgetable celebrations, beaches but no sandcastles, unforseen fracture, break-ups and make-ups, last minute trips, lost of love ones, endless interviews all for a promotion, sleepless and sometimes tearful nights, and all of which ends in a good laugh.

My friends, it has been a journey this year.  A damn amazing journey. I love you guys and too many more amazing years!

2012 is over and here I am on 2013's first day at home sick with a mad cough and fever.  Can't even get some sleep for work.

I told myself I was ending 2012 with a bang. I honestly think 2012 banged my ass last minute.  This year has taught me a lot about myself, my family, and friends.  Priceless memories we will carry with us forever. We cried about it then, but we will laugh about it from then on.  Never a dull moment in this lifetime!

The end of the year proved once again that my biggest challenge is to forgive and forget. It struck me hard this year so I've definitely been working on it even though they have been baby steps.  Bottom line, I don't like to be ducked in the ass so it gets a lil personal. Haha. It maybe its one to cut the strings with undeserving people.

Going to change things up a lil this year! Watch out!

It's amazing how life happens.  It's mysterious yet beautiful.  It's been a long time since I've felt this happy. Content with family and friends, work, and love.  I've seriously been living it and I love it.

Can't believe we're halfway thru March.  Nothing exciting, moved to a bigger and quieter place.  Love that we are in a corner and our neighbors seem quiet nice. They brought us brownies to welcome us to the hood. Haha. Life is good

Irresponsible is what I have been. Doesn't matter how much I think about it, it's what I am going to do about it. It doesn't feel safe anymore but only time will tell. Kind of cliche but it's the truth.  I was hoping for a great celebration next month but I think I'll tone it down a couple notches. What I really need to stop doing is sitting on my ass.  Who wants to look like a beached whale?! 

Tried something different today:
BBQ Brisket from Selland's - served on a soft bun.  so yummy but on the small size. Would definitely get it again.

This road leads to nowhere.  Time to take the next turn and explore. (You'd think by now I've explored enough..)  can't keep acting a fool.  So here is to new beginnings and learned lessons.  (Pray for me cos my God, it's going to be a rough road ahead)
