small office phone system
« on: April 30, 2010, 08:52:40 AM »
My boss doesn't like the current phone system that we have.  We are looking to change companies.

Right now we have Packet8 VOIP. We can't put anyone on hold, can't pick up multiple lines, drop calls...etc

We will need a phone system that can do(we can do land line or another voip):

Auto attendant
voice mail boxes
easy to set up
transfers and extentions
something with a hands free headset/compatible
multi-phone line compatible(pick up many lines if needed)

We will need about 10 phones or so...

Just wondering what is out there for a small business phone system that works and is easy to configure.

Thanks

Cisco SBCS UC500.... default configuration. .. just turn on.. plug phone in and you are ready to go...can be more advance if you want to configure the services.

its depend on what are you looking for, the future of your company and what price you want to pay.  Something like cisco ip phones, a small call manager, and cisco switch.

We use the Avaya IP offices with Voicemail Pro. Pretty simple to administer. Supporting them is a breeze. I see that Barracuda has a new Ip Office product. Barracuda is not the best, but their products do work for what you pay for and the support is great also.
