Ipad was just out not too long ago and people's email addresses were hacked already?

It's not really hacking. 

If someone knocks on your door, and you give them your email - I won't say that's breaking in.

But if they did get a hold of your email addresses you'll just get a ton of spam.  Good thing these guys were researchers who found the flaw. Or so that's what I read.
