Windows 32 Bit OS can not See more than 4gb (3.5 gb).

I use 64 bit OS because I want to use 4 G of RAM. 

Note that some of the older 64 bit computers do not support more than 3 G of RAM. 

For a regular user, there's no cons or pros.  Maybe there are still few drivers out there that's not ported to 64 bit.

You really cannot run Windows 7 without going 64bit and having 6+ gig of RAM.  These new OS are such memory hogging whores because users wants to do everything on a single platform.

You can run Windows 7 32 bit.  No, you don't need 6 G of RAM to run windows 7.

Linux 64 bit uses 500 MB of RAM and it does more than Windows 7.
