[Help] Ipod/iTunes Not Sync

After I upgraded to IOS 4, my ipod touch [2nd gen, 8gig] been having problems. First, volume on my ipod goes up and down during playing movie/music without me even touching the volume. Second, ipod/iTunes can't sync my movies and music.

I can see all my movies and music on iTunes [I upgraded to the latest version] but I can't sync most of them to my ipod touch. I restored my ipod - no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes - still no luck. 

Movies, I have 26 in my library, but only the first original 6 movies uploaded can be sync to the ipod. The other 20 cannot. Music, I have 775 items, but only 75 can be sync.

Solutions anyone?

Are u restoring ur iPod Touch from backup or as new?

First, I did fr backup, nothing. Then, I restore as new, and nothing too. Try Google and going into the Ipod help forums but didn't find any solutions either.
