What is your device?From the looks of that method, all it does is root the phone in a temporary fashion only. So you will also need to nand unlock it and flash a custom recovery to make it persistent over reboots.

LOL! it's Okay... Only Reason i'm thinking about doing it is to get WIFI tethering, apps2sd and get rid of some the Factory apps.
You don't need apps2sd unless you're still on 2.1, or you can root your phone and install a 2.2 rom. 2.2 has that built in natively. I go to http://androidforums.com/ for all my android needs. Great site
even with 2.2 app2sd is still app dependant. try this...get terminal emulator and enter...su (enter)pm setInstallLoca tion 2 (enter) (case sensitive)...exit.now you may move most app to SD. just don't go crazy.some system app may not work.
Do you have to have the root user privileges to do this?
