suggestion please!

I need to download a program to watch DVD on a desktop....any suggestion?  The desktop is an old one and was hardly ever used so all the free trial software that came with the computer expired.  Prefer a free software, but I'll pay for it if I have to.

Is Cineplayer any good? I tried Divx, but not liking it.

Thanks, but I had already purchased the Cineplayer before I saw your reply. I did however still download the VLC player and it seems more user friendly. I'll prob show my dad how to use that one bc I don't want him calling me 24/7 with questions. Thanks again!
