Installing software on a different drive?
« on: February 08, 2011, 09:20:42 AM »
I'm trying to install adobe program on a different drive. I wonder if all you need to do is change the installation path from C: to D: or do we need to make changes on registry too? Need clarification on how to install programs to a different drive.

Installed as follow but seems like some installation temp files are being redirect to C: \programs files.

Installed as follow but seems like some installation temp files are being redirect to C: \programs files.

can't help it sometimes.  For example: I installed The Witcher(Game) into my D drive, but some files were automatically installed into my My Documents folder (C:\). Not sure why.... I think a registry hack might fix it, but not worth crashing stuff..
