Torrents aren't really safe to use anymore. I'd recomend you guys to use warez forums like warez-bb.org or something else of your choice. ISP's can easily find out if you are using torrents for illegal uses by the number of different IP's that you are downloading from at once.

A few years back, a friend of mine had received a pretty scary email from Comcast and ever since I stopped using torrents. I've heard rumors that Comcast only sends out emails but does little to enforce their threats, but who knows.

Your never safe when using torrent.  Stay away from the porn, heavy media downloading and turn off all sharing if your gonna risk it.  You can use a proxy, try masking your IP, using program such as peerblock, or pay for services such as BTGuard.  And or latch onto free wifi services around the city to see if the torrent sites work.

But like I said, if even if you think you know or not of what your doing, there is no doubt in my mind to say stay 110% away from torrenting cause its just not worth it in the end.
