saki saki...

that story is a very popular mong "ghost" story...

the ending of the story is .......

"txag zag sis nis, ntoom ntoov sis mus...yog kom los nkaubb...??"

it is silly nowadays to be afraid fo such story...but in laos, mong lives in the mountains/jungles...and such story is the frightener of all kids..

yaweh

That story has been published. It's out there somewhere.

Txiv Laus Luam Mus Tua Cuam is another tiger tale.

Ntxawm Hlob thiab Ntxawm Yau (one of this sister pair versions) involves a witch fighting against a young girl, much like that tiger story you are looking for.

There's another story about a tiger and a lynx helping each other kill the king's livestock but ended up fighting each other, etc.

There's also another one about two sisters being tricked by a tiger but later the tiger got ridden by Zab.

There's one on Zab and the tiger trying to trick each other on testicles.

Saki saki...
I remember my mom telling me one of the story ur talking about when my brother and sis was still young back in Cali. I know there are a couple versions but my moms story went like this; the mother was at home taking care of the babies( I don't remember how many) while the husband went hunting. The dad got ambush and eating by the tiger. The tiger wear the husband's clothes and carry his rifle back home. When the husband (tiger) got back home the the wife got suspicious because of the tail and other stuff( can't remember much). The tiger was hungry for the babies or sum thing and told the wife to find something for the tiger to eat. So the tiger went to sleep or something like that. The wife hid the babies in around the house(forgot where each baby was hid in the house). Well I think after the wife hid the babies she went out to smash some spicy peppers, while that was happening I think the tiger found some of the babies and ate it then went out or slept again. The tiger was waiting to eat the wife too but the wife came back home and found some babies missing I think. (The house that they live in have a little 2nd level where u climb up there with a ladder). Well the wife grab the rifle and her peppers she made and climb up to the second level and waited for the tiger she also took the ladder with her and told the tiger to look up and threw the peppers at his face getting into his eyes then shot it.
Can't really remember it well but it went something like that. I remember watching an old Hmong movie on it back in the early 90's back in Fresno.

It's in English. But the story was probably written for grade school kids only.
