Wow! Thanks guys and gals for your generous effort in helping me find this song. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, the search has gone cold because I didn't put any more energy to finding it. The style is similar to Annie Lennox (but not Eurythmic's "Here Comes the Rain Again") or Florence and the Machine. The tempo is upbeat but definitely not trance. Maybe I'll hear it at Barnes and Noble again.
