j/c what the rest of you eggheads use

i'll start

OS - Win XP Pro

Browser - Chrome, but have both IE and Firefox installed, always good to  have other options if your main doesn't like certain sites

Antivirus etc - Spybot, that's it (i'm cheap)

Optical drive emulator - currently using Daemon Lite...i've used most of em, including PowerISO and Alcohol120...n ot much diff tween em honestly, although each seems to support a file format or two that none of the others do, so there's no "best" one?

Media player - VLC was best for a long time, then the latest version didn't like me...so now using Daum Potplayer...fu nny name, but works great

Burning software - Nero for the longest time when i didn't know any better...Imgbu rn now, no complaints

File compressor/decompressor - Winrar, though i've used others in the past
-------------------------
can't think of any others atm, add more if i missed any categories

Android: Gingerbread (but heard I should or need to upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich).

iMac: OSX 10 (Snow Leopard)
Browser: FireFox (always been great)
Antivirus: Never needed one since I've been using Macs.
File compressor: Yemuzip
Music: iTunes
Burning software: none. I just drag, drop, and click burn.

As for apps for the Android, currently just: Instagram, Shazam, and QR Barcode Scanner.  I've got other stuff on the Android but I haven't had the time to play with them.
