2012 revisited

Mom's been very successful this year with her garden and we've been very fortunate this year with her fruits of labor. Plenty of greens and cucumbers to last us throughout winter.

Lingerie shopping this weekend for my cousin's bridal shower. 

for the time being, i checked into vickies and found my favorite undergarment 

I had purchased 2, on separate days of course...more cost effective. Buy one get a $10 off from doing their phone in survey

bbz weekend li...*sighs, my weekend schedule is all booked for the rest of the month...I'll have to pick and choose on which event I'll have to skip and which one to attend...



it was also my cousin niece's birthday and I had the opportunity to take my kiddos out to enjoy the day since my sil had to work on the weekend

Mom and I decided to head out to the infamous Flea Market/Farmer's Market out in Galt today to get some stuff for her garden and some fruits for my work potuluck tomorrow.

We figured no stroller necessary for it may just be a quick trip to get the things we needed and out we go...but nope...

Of course, my Mom and Aunt had took forever so I was stuck with my kiddo. It took them forever to look for things so I decided to wander off w/ my kiddo for some fruits.

And this is the result of it. 





Snow White ko'ed after the apple at the end of the day. lol

Yogurt, fruits and everything almost healthy...

I love farmer's market, I can get most of my fruits for under $20  and it could feed at least 50+ people








and then what I had for lunch...it's a nasty combo. We had a salad bar at our cafeteria so thought I'll mixed in some stuff...the crab salad was a failed, the most nasty combo I mistakenly put w/ my noodle salad...*pukes..

Being sick doesn't help either.  I hate this feeling. The coughing, sneezing, runny nose, and everything is making me feel miserable.

it's been 5 yrs. since my cousin's passing 

 

he was like a brother to us...my father and uncle took him in when no one else wanted him and they treated him like their son... they provided a roof over his head and helped him turned his life around....

this past weekend was his daughter's wedding and although he's no longer here with us, my father took his place in giving my niece away....

my father got a bit emotional during his speech which made everyone teary 



Congrats my dear niece, may this new journey in your life be prosperous and enjoyable. Love u guys.

South Lake Tahoe is quite beautiful during the fall. My mother had wanted a mini getaway from the city with her sisters and she had been asking me forawhile now, so this past weekend, my cousin and I had took them out for a day of pictures and to just sight-see.


These are her only 2 siblings in the States and they are very close to one another.
 

Mom and my Aunts saw this view and wanted my cousin and I to stop for some pictures








I just had to check out this gorgeous view on top of the Harrah's again!




They had cut out all the flowers near the Gondola now...getting ready for the ski season

After a month and a half in recovery mode, I'm going to start running again...last night i jetted one darn mile only and my body was aching in pain, but i know it was for the better ...

as age is catching up to me, i realized i'm having these chronic pain and it's not a good sign

my gal cousins wants to do Vegas again, and my definite answer to them was "oh heeeeeeeeek Yeah!" I meant..."Yes sirree!" 

Goal: Vegas 2013  Long ways to go but now is the time to start saving up again...

Mom was actually looking at shirts for the kiddos since she did not get the chance to make it this year for them




Just logging in -my back pain came back on Nov. 17 2012, the most dreadful week ever. Started my new job and I was in pain, but did not want to take the days off so I literally dragged my handicap body to work. To top it off, the elevators were down and in repair, so I had to climb 5 flights of stairs to my office. I literally was about to faint huffing and puffing my ass to work along with my pain.

Back to the treadmill...an d more stretching *sighs...Day 2
