heck yea...I remember this song...good find, moonangel
Thanks.
Listening to Tori Amos now. Her album, "Little Earthquakes" was one of my favorites to listen through on repeat during college. Those were the days of dating and emotions going bonkers. There was boy I fell hard for and he just wasn't that into me. Those were the worse feelings ever but looking back, it taught me about love and what real love is. That was not love then, even though I thought it was. But, when you do fall in love with the wrong person, and they are not returning their love, it feels like there is something wrong with you, when in fact, you are perfect just the way you are.
That's why Tori Amos' music spoke to me. Her lyrics seem to almost be written with me in mind...and that is what I call a great musician.
"Tear In Your Hand"
Cried so many times listening to this in those days.

This was my favorite verse from that song:
"You're right next to me
But I need an airplane
I can feel the distance as you breathe
Sometimes I think you want me to touch you
How can I when you build the great wall around you"
