I agree completely. I followed my passion and although I am doing great work, my pay is so-so only. Now that I am thinking about the next step in life, I sort of wish I would have stuck with bio-medical engineering instead of getting into social services. Follow the money.
Yah. Science pays off. I loved science and took AP chem, bio, and calc.
But now I work for the largest medical company in the world. It has its ups and downs, but way more ups than downs. But I'm very aggressive too on the career front. But it's fun.
