MN trout opener next Sat. where are you guys going to fish?
I'm heading down to white water area...not sure yet if we're going to fish in the park or outside of the park.

Nice...I'm lazy, so I'm just gonna hit the trout pond.
Maybe start doing what other Hmong people do...bring the kids to up my limit.
But these kids don't wake up that early so, I'll be screwed on the parking spot

we ended up going to the trout ponds. didn't get our limit one short of our four man limit. action was not hot early at least at our spot. we had to move around a few times to find the fish.

Opened yesterday. People caught so many. My neighbor caught a 4 pounder trout. I didn't catch anything.
I used power bait and night crawlers and still no luck!!

Sountwestern MN is great for stream trouts. Crawlers work most of the times. I've just discovered that, of course. lol
