2016 TACOMA
« on: March 29, 2016, 08:50:06 AM »
Hi car experts

I've been contemplating of buying a 2016 Tacoma SR5 with the long bed version with the navigation/sonar package. NOT the SR5 OFF Road or SPORT package.  The base price for this trim is $29, 237.

One dealer quoted me @ $32,188.00 +tax, title, fee. So for the OTD (Out the Door) price, it comes out roughly $34,300.00

Is this a FAIR deal?

This is WISCONSIN'S pricing.

You could get a better deal else where... Come to twin cities and visit Maplewood Toyota. They do high volume deal for Hmong peeps and suppose to give you the best deals.

Your getting ripped off. Never pay MSRP. You should pay dealer invoice for it which can be either a few hundreds to a thousand or two lower.

I dont know, but i love the tacoma.. i think you shoud try to see if you can bargain him.. do ou at least get any mats or accessories? i think this sounds about right though casue when i bought my car taxes titles and fees was like 3k unless you can get them to include it in the msrp..

we got our crv with the titles and fees for free and then we just paid taxes

You need to call a few dealership and let them outbid each other to get you a good price. I did it a while back... I was in the market for a CRV back in 2000... I called 5 dealerships around town and had them outbid each other. I called the first dealership and ask for a price. Then I'll call the second dealership and told them I got a deal on a car and can they beat the deal, I give them a price that's $500 less than what I was quoted. This went on for a few days... finally settle on a dealership that was still giving me quote when the others quit. I end up paying around $20G for the CRV EX with 90% of the accessories only 75 miles on Odometer. Car was listed at $24G for sale.
