Quinoa for the hmong soul
« on: June 23, 2016, 01:41:52 PM »
With all the great health benefits I've been hearing about incorporating quinoa into our daily diets, I decided to hop on it. Being that it's not found in any hmong dishes, any of you guys have foods you like to mix or prepare it with. I have just been mixing it with rice to cut down the portion of white rice I was consuming. Feed my hungry body with new dishes!!

Yep, quinoa is healthier than rice. My wife loves ordering it when ever we go EATSA or other places that serve it... O0

Quinoa's great.  I usually make tabbouleh with it but I've eaten it plain too.  It's great with grilled fish.

I jokingly said doesn't quinoa look like little worms on rice, and she said "eww, gross"!!!  ;D
