GM expect Cousins to be the QB for 2023. I really think they need to move on already.
Any QB that can take them to the post season and be consistence about it is a keeper to these GM and owners. Winning it all is still a roll of a dice but gotta get to that big dance first to get even a shot at rolling that dice.
IF you think about it, getting rid of cousin will need them a replacement and with their slot for the first round, a better rookie QB is not at par with cousin. If cousin flop next year and flop good to get the 1st or 2nd choice then sure, cousin, you are done for. Cousin knows this so to make it tougher for them team executives, he is going to seed right in the middle or better and to make the decision making that much tougher for them.
