I have a theory for it. With the cooler loaded, not enough cold to freeze it. Even if it freezes, it can come back to life cuz cold just slows down their life vital organs. They are cold blooded regardless.
The animal kingdom is a trip. Even desert frogs goes into hibernation mode in dry azz sand just to come out when they hear dropping of water. So these African kaydoo be mimicking rain drops just to catch them.
