Good to know someone else does it too. And yep, the numbers on the sticker are link with the plate.

The part that sucks the most is I have to pay $22 for a new one and lose that time out of my life to get it done  :knuppel2::

Well since it is small, you'll probably getting away with it but if I'm a cop and I see you tampering with such sticker, I would say that you are the ones that are stealing sticker thus why your sticker on your plate looking all ghetto. 

so i pull you over, wasting your time and let you go after verifying. 

Still hates getting pull over, even when they are mistaken.  Just saying.
