We all know what the ratings is going to be already when a white person directs an original Asian movie.
Disney, like the universe, owes you nothing. I don't understand why some Asians think that just because a corporation makes a product which remotely resembles part of something relatable to you then you automatically have the right to criticize. Did you also criticize Aladdin for being directed by a white person too? Can Disney be more culturally appropriate? Sure. Can they have research and polish the story more? Of course. Do they care? Probably not. Do you have a choice of what businesses to support? Yes.
