Thanks for inspiring me to love and play the game of soccer.

I thought pale was the goat?

My dad generation was into leg ball.  All I remembered from him is his talks about pale and them trick shots that he did that makes young males wanna be like him.

Never heard of that guy but then I'm not much of a futbol fan. RIP none the less..

And Duma, I think most do consider Pele the GOAT in that sport but no unanimous agreement just like in other sports such as the NBA, NFL, Boxing, etc...so it's subjective... ;D

Depending on who you ask.

Nailed it!

For example, in the NBA, some consider Michael Jordan to be the GOAT but others disagree..in the NFL, some consider Tom Brady as the GOAT but others disagree, etc...so just depends on who you ask..

Definitely Michael Jordan for me. And hell no not Tom Shady.

I still remember the first time I saw Maradona, I was nine in Thailand camp. As I was sipping num O-Leung in a small street shop, and to my right the family was watching a soccer game. I glanced over and saw Maradona dances like magic maneuvering the ball from one end to the other, evading defenders left and right, he was so good dribbling the ball, it’s like watching a man making magic with his foot. I knew since then I wanted to play soccer. I continue to watch him in the World Cup and his club games here and there. And my passion for soccer grew.

i had to look him up.  My gosh, what entertainment he can provide.  That dribbling skills are to die for.  Worth my ticket just to see him do 1 of his tricks for highlights.

It was said he died of a heart attack.  I wonder how can a soccer player can even have a heart problem.  If an athlete like himself can get heart disease then who the hell am I?

RIP to this guy I never heard of cuz I don't play leg ball and was born a decade too late.
