That's not entirely true.  Systematic Racism contributes a lot to people being poor too.  That's just one factor that causes people to remain poor.  There are more.  Think about this scenario.  People working have to pay taxes.  Taxes are redistributed/loaned to banks who are ran by people of the dominant race.  They choose to only give business loans and approve mortgages to other people of their same race.  This means, if you're not of that race, you can't start up a business unless you save up all the cash upfront.  That takes years to do.  You can't buy an expensive house because you can't get a mortgage and those homes keep going up in value so no matter how much you save, you can't seem to catch up to the rising home prices.  Some can't even get a home loan to buy homes in poor neighborhoods because banks won't make loans to homeowners in those areas since they're considered high risk areas.  This is why we need laws to protect people from these types of practices.  The people you elect to be in charge determines whether to create these laws or not.

Also, look at healthcare.  People are sometimes made poor because they have huge hospital bills from being sick.  The government you elect determines whether they will allow the healthcare industry to overcharge for essential needs.  If they allow it, people will remain poor while healthcare industry gains wealth. 

There are plenty more examples of how Government affects our lives.

A friend just got a job.  I was reviewing over his documentations and paperwork and I saw something that is unbelievable. 

He takes home $700 a week after tax which is decent money to survive on but check this out, his healthcare which covers his family cost half of that.  They charges $350  a week for buying healthcare.  I haven't even add dental and vision. 

It makes me feel privileged with the type of coverage I am currently getting.  Full pop for free and without deduction from my paycheck.  Then again, perspective can say that they could of payed me more and then the deduction comes in.   Touche

I compared mine with my tesla boys and theirs are better coverage but they have to pay.  We both are under the kaiser umbrella. 

When a few departments got furlough, they also got covered healthcare.  Young buck like me don't know how to benefit from this free healthcare sorta system.  Too healthy to even make an appointment to go.  Well except for teeth and that's this friday and vision 1x a year check up but medical?  I don't feel sick, needs a physical but that too is lacking and the healthcare system is gaining on me cuz they got payed and I'm not using it. 

Maybe I'll wait till 50, the age where you need to stick something up my booty hole to check for colon cancer.  yeah maybe

another option is marry a nurse like how you con your way and marry your wife.  You get to free ride your wife's health care benefits.  I'm sure hers is great as well since she is in the healthcare field.
