A great experience it was.

Aww the younger days. The best memories are back at home. I’m glad I have a chance to be born and raised in Laos.

Right.

Well said, people who have never been through it could not appreciate nor comprehend our past.

At the end of the day, we both go home equally happy. And we tell each other how great the trip was.

Do you ever share your catches with your team?

Back then, we did. If I got two and he got one, I'd offer him one so that he would have two. Vice versa.

We don't mind having less, so long as our co-anglers were happy and also so long as the trip was good. There was plenty in nature for us to go get again.

They aren't carps. They are kind of white fish and many other kinds but smaller than carp by 70% or so.

Yes, Bounmee is still catching them. We humans did migrate out of the country but the fish haven't.  They keep populating the streams and rivers there.

Ditto, those of us that were born there know what's up...whether it's fishing, hunting or just pure surviving.. O0

Back then we eat everything we catch as long as it's safe to eat..Not like some of these don't know anything guys here that spend a ton of money to go fish and then just throw it back.. ;D

Never see those fish before
Not sure what the meeka name is
The white fish here
We call them cisco but too many different species
But look unlike those pictures

Some are  barbs; some are rutiluses (fresh-water roach rutiluses are our favorites), etc.

Really? White fish are ciscos? What are tullibees?
