"Tucker Carlson guest airs debunked conspiracy theory that COVID-19 was created in a lab." PolitiFact criticized Carlson for having Dr. Li-Meng Yan on his show stating that the virus came from the lab in Wuhan.

Yan, a virologist and former postdoctoral fellow at the University of Hong Kong, explained that the Chinese government created the virus in a Wuhan lab and released it intentionally. The virus' gnome indicated that it was created, she went on to claimed. She also accused the Chinese government of silencing those that made the same claims.
