..Despite the internal drama, Bob sounds like a pretty good guy based on the words of those close to him

Wouldn’t have recognized him without his afro and of course his landscape instructional paintings. Saw a few of his painting episodes in my lifetime.

Speaking of hair, here's a younger version of bob from early adulthood to mid-life. I never would have guess it if I didn't watch the doc..

PBS channel was when I first saw bob while I grew up in Narleans.

I was amazed on how he uses simple techniques to paint his trees though. Like you can draw a big stick in black then you just dap dap dap dap your paint brush to make leaves. Then you use white paint to put on the inside of your black trees to give highlights.

What is more charming is his calm voice though.

Dude went global and his show was dubbed in several languages before he died so good for him and it showed how popular he was:
