All branches are hiring. Mechanical Engineers and Applications Engineer. Might be industry related but I'm feeling secure.
Salary/professional positions are fine... just the hourly that are affected. Yeah, we had the same issue this year with finding the necessary labors. However, the forecast for next year isn't good, hence the layoff.
Tens of thousands of professionals getting slashed locally. Wish I get the boot so I can retire to an island.

Me too... We had a new engineer that just put in his two weeks notice. Now, we're down to 3 plus a engineer tech.Nah, I'm good... Like I said, we had problem finding workers early this year. The company had to increase pay be 20% just to get people in the door. But now with the forecast of sales 2023 slashed in half, we're downsizing...
