Cultured or uncultured?

What do you considered yourself to be?

Have you been told any?

I will say for those of us born and raised from the late 70s and 80s are more culturally competent than those who are born in the 90s and later regardless of race.

For sure.

There used to be a time when we had to remember people's phone number to dial them up. No such thing as a cell phone with speed dial.

For example, one time we got dropped off at the mall and wanted to come home early. We tried calling my mom at a payphone but she wasn't home. So we had to think of all the people we knew to see if anyone was available. lol!

Not everybody was listed in the phone book. Remember those things?

Culture is the same as law. No matter how many times men enforce laws to govern their own people and they don't even follow their own laws.  :2funny:

I tried to see the silver lining during COVID lockdowns. I was glad to see school-aged kids outside on their bikes and scooters again. One thing that really got me going "awww" was when I saw some boys on their bikes carrying fishing poles. I haven't seen boys do that since...well since I was a kid myself!

As of five years ago, I was still using a flip phone.

What is that?
