Hmmm... why do you need the gov't to make laws so you can pay more taxes? What's stopping you from paying the extra taxes that you are dying to pay?
e.g. if I'm dying to give 10% of my paycheck to the poor, I just do it instead of asking for a law so I can give that 10%.

It's all virtual signal from these ultra-rich.... As soon as the gov't create laws, they will hire tax experts to get them out of paying the extra. And if they did, they will write it off their tax.
