Tips are fine. When you think about it, workers don’t make much money from the hourly wages so they depend on tips to fund their salaries.

People keep saying the biz owner should pay them more but that would just mean an increase in prices for the customers so it’s a wash.

Undecided about this. You hear stories of owners paying a living wage and then some who nickel and dime their employees. Capitalism at work though.
