Hello Lovers!
Long time no talk, and we hope the new year is going well so far. We're happy to announce that based on the great success of our 2008 event, we were able to make donations to a number of non-profit organizations to help them with their mission, such as Next Aid, AIDS Housing Aliiance, Burners without Borders, SF Suicide Prevention, Bay Area Young Positves, the Center for Sex and Culture, Beat University and more coming.
We're already looking forward to grow this fantastic event into an expanded Love movement in the coming year, with a tentative date set for *Saturday, October 3rd, 2009.* Save the date!
We'd like to elicit your help in helping us decide on the evolution of our 'official' name. Many still call us Love Parade, many will still call us SF LoveFest, but we're going to slightly tweak that name and you get to have your say. We will still be the same special event, with the same intention thrown by the same team. Sadly, Reza from Go Ventures in LA threatened to sue us because he has a party called The Love Festival. As a non-profit event without the resources for court battles, we decided to take the high road and involve you in the next step.
