...understood why those cars don't wear front license plate and I've never been stopped for it so it remained like this throughout my ownership:

For those that LE do stop for not having a front plate but don't want to mess with the bumper, I saw this recently and thought it was a good clean alternative:

Honda has entered the street legal superbike race with a race replica retailing for an eye-popping $184,000..

Later this year, the company will start selling a limited run of its RC213V-S -- the consumer edition of the production motorcycle that Marc Marquez has raced to two world championships.

It's much too soon to say whether the Honda will be a better or faster machine than any of those mighty motorcycles. But it will be the most expensive of the lot.

"For a long time people have been demanding a street-legal version of the RCV," said Lee Edmunds, manager of motorcycle marketing communications at American Honda. "So our engineers set out to build what is basically a MotoGP bike with a headlight and turn signals."

Versions sold in the U.S., because of emissions and other regulations, will not be as powerful as the 235-horsepower motorcycle ridden by Marquez. The U.S. RC213V-S will make only 101 horsepower.

Are you F'ing kidding me... :idiot2:

Judge convicts NY detective in bloody road rage chase

New York (AFP) - A New York police detective and another man were found guilty Tuesday over a road rage chase that ended with a banker beaten in front of his wife and toddler in broad daylight.

Judge Maxwell Wiley found detective Wojciech Braszczok, 34, guilty of second-degree assault, criminal mischief, coercion and riot over the September 29, 2013 incident in Manhattan that shocked New Yorkers.

New York police promptly suspended the detective pending termination.

Braszczok, who was off-duty at the time, was acquitted on two more serious assault charges, local media reported.

Robert Sims, 36, was convicted of attempted gang assault, attempted assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree, coercion, criminal possession of a weapon and riot.

The two men will be sentenced on August 5 and 6. Braszczok faces a maximum sentence of seven years, and Sims between five and 15 years.

Nine other bikers involved in the episode have already been convicted of second-degree assault for their roles in the attack.

Banker Alexian Lien, 33, the driver of a luxury Range Rover, was brutally assaulted after a gang of motorcyclists chased him down following a brief confrontation with one of the bikers.

run flat tires were the worst in my experience. It was hard and noisy ("Flinstones"). Plus, it didn't grip too well for high performance tires. Mileage was OK but there are too many variables when it comes to mileage i.e., how you drive, what kind of car, road conditions, weather, etc..

GM, Ford, And Others Want to Make Working on Your Own Car Illegal

One of the inherent rights of owning a vehicle is the ability to get on one’s backside — a wrench in one hand and a grease rag in the other, and just tinker to your little heart’s desire. Since the vehicle was invented, it’s been an important facet within the community of gearheads.

General Motors — the same company responsible for 87 deaths related to faulty ignition switches, FYI — wants to take that right away from you citing safety and security issues. Along with a few other big names.

It’s called the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). It’s been around since 2000 and started as anti-Internet piracy legislation. But automakers want to use it to try and make working on your own car illegal. Yes, illegal. The general premise is that unlike cars of the past, today’s vehicles are so advanced and use such a large amount of software and coding in their general makeup, altering said code could be dangerous and possibly even malicious.

LOS ANGELES — A street racer and car tuner whose fame stretched from online videos to a cable TV show  has been charged with two counts of murder after a crash stemming from an illcit Los Angeles race.

Israel "Izzy" Valenzuela, 38, also was charged Thursday with engaging in a street race that caused a concussion. Another alleged promoter of the race, 21-year-old Henry Gevorgyan was charged with the same counts on Tuesday. Both men remain jailed on bail of more than $2 million apiece.

Two men were killed and a third was seriously injured during a Feb. 26 race in Chatsworth, Calif., when a souped-up Mustang went out of control and slammed into a crowd on the sidewalk while racing a Nissan GT-R.

In terms of '86 SUVs, there were several SUV that looks better imo such as the 4Runner or Wrangler:

The severely overpriced and fugly Lamborghini LM002:
