got back now...a few crappies and some perch.  no biggies, all small

Last time I did ice fishing was about 7 years ago. First time then, too.

I am not too fond of this season. I prefer spring and summer and even autumn fishing to winter fishing.

When there's thick ice and trucks can drive onto lakes...the aspect of just catching fish out of a hole on the floor is stupid simple.  It's not really the catching fish part.  It's the whole concept of it.
