So I booked a vacation home in Florida last night and paid half of the total but the website(VRBO)/ or whoever sent me an email wanting a picture ID with a selfie, and a picture of my credit card for additional confirmation. I just think that it was strange for them to ask me for these things(especially my credit card) over the internet. I have done many trips and booking before but have never done a transaction like this. Have you ever encounter this, is this normal?

General Discussion / What vacations do you have planned for 2019?

This year I plan on going to Orlando for a week at the beginning of April. Spend a day or two at Universal studios/Islands of Adventure. Explore Clearwater and Tampa and the beaches.
I want to spend at least 3-4 days in MN during the July 4th tournaments.
I want to take 2 weeks off and explore California in December. One week exploring from the North to the South and than a few days at the Hmong new year before coming back home.
I kind of want to go to Canada to. Maybe I'll sneak a trip in there somewhere. But I'm kind of scared because I don't know anything about Canada

I took the day off. Washed 2 cars. fixed my dad's truck. Took the kids shopping and got their hair cuts. Shredded 5 papayas, marinated 4 trays off meat and cooked dinner...LETS GO!!! Sleep is for the weak

Do you like traditional meka style with the bread and veggies or Hmong style with the herbs, silver noodles, and what not I like both but if I had to give one up forever I would do away with the meka dawb style.
