I can understand flying cheap if you're not making any stops with flight times under 3 hours. I personally would spend the extra money to get the best flight times and connections if I fly across the country. It's one of those things where I can say, been there done that. Connections in Chicago, new York, Atlanta, LA, are all horrible. I would avoid these places if possible. Also I have learned that on your return flights its always best to take the red eye flight. Better service and more bang for your buck deal.

Have you started yours? What are you getting for your significant other, or others?   ...kids, parents, siblings? Time is going by so fast I haven't really thought about anything. I think I'm going to keep it simple this year and go back to the basics...toys. ..blankets...c lothes. No more video games, techy gadgets.

Lol...I know what you mean brotha. I used to think like Duma, but after years of not contributing their part I just let my wife rant all she wants. It has gotten to the point where I don't even want to invite these people anymore...and its sad because I'm not that type of a person.

I think every family has a family member that is like this.  Once or twice it's okay but when it becomes every gathering, it becomes a problem. All the hard working wives has a right to be upset. I would be to.

So much tragedy in our community these days...it doesn't matter if we're from different cities, or different states, hearing of all these tragic news will always have an impact on our community regardless of where we're from. It sucks.

2pac said it best. And now we will understand how the black community felt when they lost one of their own. Its old but lets remind our family and friends that we need to change if we want to move forward. We are on the verge of having a Asian president, and yet we're taking two steps backward from making national news with a mass shooting...we need to come together as a community and do better.
