General Discussion / Re: Andrew Yang's first experiment: Stockton??
« on: September 05, 2019, 06:54:58 PM »
I think it's a good idea especially if that money were only supposed to go toward people that need the extra money because of their geographical location and lack of employment/opportunities. Stockton is pretty much in that category. That money will only improve needy people's lives but will not transform or grow the cities economy.

They need to bring back basic education programs like they did in the 80s. Basic math, science, and business fundamentals. Put those people on projects and have them report on their progress. As a nation, as a human we have to get smarter. We need fresh ideas to propel us into the next century. Our minds are the only thing that is going to break us free from this struggle.

The only thing that make sense to eating out for is the seafood/lobster buffet O0

This is why America hate you immigrants ;D

I have some in-laws from Stockton and when we last visited, they insist that we stop and eat there. Sure, eating outside at the park is cool and all but turning a beautiful city park into a flea market is a no no for me. Its ghetto. I'm all about conserving my city and my neighborhoods.

The speech at 6:00. This movie was filmed in 2012 and this scene was deleted from the theater. Its a great speech with a look at the future for mankind.
