Marrying women from overseas isn't uniquely a Hmong thing or Hmong influence. The term "picture
bride" existed long before we Hmong even heard of America. We Hmong have imitated others; some
others may have imitated us. But it's a worldwide trend.

Many cultures go back for women in their cultures because the ones who are already here have
lost that loving cultural feeling.

I know folks..was just being sarcastic but seems like this trend is stronger than ever for the younger generations of Americans too...lols
