You're still an elaborate story teller after all these years.
Glad you didn't get stopped and nothing bad happened to you.
Even though you're not sick, having a chronic cough can cause reactions to vaccines, so they're taking those precautions. Feel better sir.

Thanks. I'll be careful with the law. Perhaps that predicted what already happened yesterday? I was driving on Maryland Avenue in St. Paul going west. I came to an intersection. It was a 30 mph road. The oncoming cars were stopping for a pedestrian to walk through the cross walk. I could have just driven right through on my side. But I chose to stop. So I made a jerky slow-down to a stop. The car right behind me had to stop quickly, too, and he had to turn to the curb on the right to avoid hitting me.
Turned out, that was a squad car! But I wasn't afraid because I had the pedestrian making his way from the left.
I wasn't stopped for anything after that. The cop followed me for about a mile or so and I kept my speed to the limit. So, he finally turned right onto Highway 35E north and away from me.
I knew that cop has mixed feelings about this: to cite me for jerky stop but then realizing I was doing the right thing for the cross-walk.
You're right that they won't let me get the shot if I'm sick. I'm not sick but the testing people said today that they wouldn't let me take the shot until I'm found to be negative. In 24 to 48 hours I should have the test results.
