I did just as this guy... Pink Salmon Cake...  Taste like egg when finish. Very good.

nice.. what gun were you using? nice and open hunting forest.

The first gun is the 30-06 and for squirrel hunting is the salvage 17 hmr.

how do shad taste like? i heard it has alot of bone... i usually let them go, they're very thin...

They do have alot of bones... They are very good eating. Well some just use it as soup and eat very slowly. It taste plain o' simple. Some what better than striper.

I told my sister someday if they are going back to vegas I will be heading to lake powell to fish for these elusive striper there... Rent a boat if I needed to catch them boiled. Nice catch. I wait until then...
