Any new Tundra owner in the house?

My bro wants to get one but I heard it got lots of issue - especially engine problems. Was reading online and seems a lot of people needed engine replacement after only 45k or so and not just once but multiple times.

Thank God I didn't get a Tundra... instead got a Taco. My Taco is still doing good but it's only about 27K miles (2018). I don't drive much of it since I have an older small vehicle for daily commute.

Hmmm...not sure as I haven't been following the Tundra since no manual tranny is offer at all...
Too much stress on the smaller engine?
