Title: What Are Your Auto Projects This Coming Year
Post by: E92M3 on February 26, 2015, 12:56:36 PM
This winter cannot go by any faster.  It sucks not being able to do much with the car unless you have a shop or a heated garage.  What are people planning to do this coming year to their car, big or small?

I'll start.  Once weather is better, car will go for a complete detail which will include wash, clay bar, machine polish, sealant, then wax.  Next will be to get a midpipe to bring out the sound and a little HP gain.  That's it for now...

So, let's hear it.

First I have to get new tires for my 18" rims. After that tune my Escape. Might get some skid plates too for underneath the car but that's only if I'm really rich. I hope to be running at least very high 14's after all is said and done. I should be close to about 280 HP and over 300 torque.  :P

No projects plan, just regular maintenance and/or repair stuff. In fact, I haven't done any projects in years...

Get a Integra GS-R then make it look like a Type R 5 lug replica but swap out the B18 for a D16 sohc motor then build the internal and turbocharge it. Add giant wing to the rear. Get another giant wing and add it on top of that wing. Then find The Poster and drag race him on the streets. Crash in to a pole, someones car, his car, a bystander, flip the car? Jump from crashed car and into my truck awaiting in the alley. Escape from the police in highway speed chase. Be show on the channel 6 news or local news. Crash truck. Do GTA5 skydive cheat code to escape but only after I do the invincible cheat code so I won't die from the fall.

Clean the garage.  Too damn cold even with a garage heater and heat cannon.

Been having the urge to put a system in my car. I have 2 old school JL w6's doing nothing but collecting dusts.  Take out my PPI amp from my garage queen to run new interior speakers.  :-\

Probably just :idiot2: thinking…

You know I've also been thinking about hooking up a car with a system myself but nowadays most factory sound system doesn't sound too bad

DC2R recaro's are the only comfortable seat's I've found, believe it or not.

First time I sat in it, I was like, Wow! this is very comfortable!

WEll compared to the stock GSR leather.

I haven't sat in many other kinda seats, I'm sure the other stock Recaro's are just as comfortable.

But "racing" seats?  I would think they WOULD be uncomfortable.

The only uncomfortable thing about those recaro's is, it's not comfortable to sleep in at all.  But they were never designed to be slept in.

Thinking about doing bushings & boots. Also needs some paint jobs. Anyone know a place here in the twin cities that mixes paint? Touch up paints just never match to stock paint after it dries.

Welle Auto if you're in the Twin Cities.  Expensive but there are not a lot of places left.   Some Carquests use to, may be some still do.
