My Jackfruit
by Lilly
My jackfruit, oh my jackfruit, how sweet art thou
Your roots lie where the sun never dies
How enormous and spiky you look
But your orange flesh screams of the tropics
You are succulent and so sweet
Like honey, I can’t get enough of you
My jackfruit, oh my jackfruit, how wonderful art thou
My cravings for you can only be satiated once every blue moon
Such a long time to taste you again
And then, like a feather, you fly away and are gone!
Do you not know just how wonderful you are?
Why must you leave my side and only come to me
Every blue moon?
My jackfruit, oh my jackfruit, you are everything I ever dream of
In a fruit
Please don’t leave my side
Stay with me until the day I die

Nicely written. Thanks for sharing. I saw a whole bunch of jackfruits on Sunday. Thought of buying it but it was too much for myself.

Jackfruits are the best. You could've bought a few and sent them to me!
