Title: Jury duty: can you really believe the testimony of an undercover cop?
Post by: YAX on January 09, 2018, 04:00:34 PM
Think about it.  They're paid to lie and make it sound truthful. He's obviously very good at it since he's able to lie well enough to convince bad guys that he's on their side.  So.. How hard would it be for him to lie and sound convincing to jurors? hmm?

Ive know countless officers that I have nothing but respect for them.  I’ve also came across a few that you wonder how they have gotten their job in the first place.  They just act and look like complete a-holes.  So ya it’s not easy.

Ive watched a clip of a black guy confronting a White officer as to why the officer would lie and planted evidence to put the black due behind bar.  It was a heated encounter I must say.  Black dude even said “yor arz is grass!”  ;D

99 out of 100 cops can be good but it only takes one bad cop to kill you. ;)

That's the whole purpose of a court case. Both lawyers are trying to convince the jury.

One of my jury duty questions was something like: Do you think you should always trust police officers because they represent the law?

Everyone should, but that doesn't mean everyone will.  Just like everyone should not steal.  ;)
