steve harvey is hella funny AF (hella?!? who still uses hella nowadays, except for hmong everythang?  )!!!

no animosity towards the man...he's just being who he is, a comedian/show host...i don't think there's any ill intent to defame asian men.

i more concerned about the book though, the title alone is a disgrace.  the book/author talks down on asian men as if they are inferior, least of the unwanted men in the world, smallest of the smallest packages in size and way way below average in physical attraction.  in order for asian men to get with white women and/or any other ethnic women, we have to be calculated, do a mathematical equation of possibilities (such as: sine, cosine to the nth degree at tangent, plus infinity, divided by 2 creampies and the square root of x + y = xoxo) and to the point of almost stalking the potential mate of her every move, getting her info down to the strands of her dna....all in all, only leading back to just being oneself.

I don't need a stinky book, all I need is to say "hi!"

ok Debbie Downer!

i can see your movie now...you, a hmong american going to her village, meats up with her.  you guys have slow motion  run on the dirt roads, she jumps into your arms, you spin her around, with lee kong's music playing in the background.  then the movie jumps to her crying for because her mom let you guys get married,  her mom feeds her opium and dies because the mother wants you for herself.  the mother charges you with the cause of death, who now holds your passports, id's and all the money you have.  you have no obligation but to sleep and marry her.   scared yet?

a wiseman brought up a good point in another thread which relates entirely to this topic.  Our business don't grow because we don't do referrals.  the wiseman said, one store will not share it's secret with another to level the playing field (which could be argumentative).  this is where we see the failure...rega rdless if store A don't have an item a consumer is looking for, he's not going to refer to store B, who he knows store B has.  same as with hmong doctors, a chiropractor (specializing in personal injury) is not going to refer his patient with a substantial eye injury to a hmong (per se) ophthalmologis t or optometrist.  We're only good at swapping labor, literrally..as with the hmong term, "pab dag, pab zog", we're not too keen on referral business....pe b tsuas paub pab dawb pab do xwb!
